Abstrakt: The article focuses on the condition of a seven year-old with an acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. The boy developed a red, violaceous skin rash over his upper and lower extremities and developed ulcers in the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and anterior nares. He had undergone haematological and biochemical tests, an immunology screen, virology screen and cultures, which have not found any significant abnormality. The patient's clinical and haematological features and response to antileukaemic therapy demonstrated that the rare possibility of a lymphoproliferative disorder should be considered in cases that present as lymphocytic vasculitis.
