The article profiles professor Frank Covert Jean, a classroom science teacher in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. It provides detailed information on Jeans childhood, education, and his career as a science teacher. Jean helped to develop one of the finest teacher training institutes in the country at Colorado State. He was a member of several organizations including the National Association for Research in Science Teaching, Eugenics Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Jean was a recipient of the Tenth Science Education Recognition Award. |
