This article presents the development of Korean animation during the period 1998-2003. The support of the government has resulted in the release of five feature-length films, the creation of the cartoon cable network Tooniverse and the establishment of animation schools. Also included are a review of the animation industry and their export intiatives. A bibliography is included. |
