The article features "Living Theatre", emphasizing on how it has undergone a painful period of relocation, up to the time it finally settled back in New York. Along those periods, the author has described how the theater has modified its character, interiors, and how it has figuratively depicted the world's crisis like arms race, civil rights, world hunger, political exploitation, and the threat of nuclear extinction. By narrating the story, he hope to convey the message that spectators, as well as the participants has to understand that what they are working at has seriously to do with how people live in this world. |
