The article presents a case study which examined how visually impaired students can be successfully included in a dual-language program, the necessary factors for the students' success and the benefits they can derive from participation. The study was conducted in a northern Colorado dual-language school. In this school which educates native Spanish and native English speakers, students with visual impairments are provided support by an itinerant teacher and a full-time paraprofessional. |
