The article evaluates bone artifacts excavated from the Lïga archaeological site in Northern Bulgaria. The bone remains belong to three distinct periods of human activity from subsequent phases of the Late Copper Age. The role of bone tools was compared to chipped and polished stone tools from Copper Age sites in Northwest Bulgaria. Comparisons were made based on relative calculations of tools recovered from sounding trenches at various sites. |
