The article presents information on the activities of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) as of December 1990. The midyear meeting held by ARLIS/NA serves a variety of functions. Some of them were to discuss the activities of the groups, committees, special appointments, and executive board members, as well as to take action on any items that need board approval or funding and to approve the budget for the next fiscal year as prepared and presented by tbe treasurer. Karen Meizner and Tom Young, co-chairs of the 1991 Kansas City conference of ARLIS in Kansas, presented tbe preliminary program recommended by the Conference Planning Advisory Committee at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The board has also received two invitations from chapters to host future conferences in their area. |
