The author suggests that it is time for parents and children to talk about the subject of money and how to manage it. According to some surveys, parents rarely or never discuss finances with their children. Teaching children to respect money is not just part of a parent's moral duty, but it is in the parent's self-interest. It is important to give children the individual responsibility to understand how to handle money. Once you get children to save money early on, it is imperative that you keep them on this path. |
