The article presents a homily regarding the healing power of Jesus Christ, to be given on February 5, 2006. The gospel shows that in the midst of human suffering and misery, Jesus is the presence of God. He must have been acutely aware that He could not heal everyone. But, as long as He was able, He fulfilled the mission He had been given. He moved from town to town letting people experience His compassion as He preached about the God who had sent Him. |
