This article presents several letters addressed to U.S. conservative William F. Buckley. The first letter questions the distinctions underlying the different terms applied to several known dictators such as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. The second letter argues against Dale Warner's premise that the term "scot-free" comes from Scotland. The third letter questions Buckley's effort to pay attention to a study which attempted to investigate whether homosexuality is inherited. According to the letter sender, Buckley is too highly respected a conservative icon to deal in such liberal drivel. |
