The article presents readers' letters to William F. Buckley, editor-in-chief of "National Review," published in the March 25, 1996 issue of the periodical. One reader wanted to clarify if the late semanticist S. I. Hayakawa, really was able to speak Japanese. Another reader proposed several statements which pro-abortionists could proclaim to defend their position. The last reader criticized the use of Indian names for sports teams in the U.S. He also enumerated the names of other sports teams which humiliate other groups of persons. |
