| Abstrakt: |
This article presents a discussion on decision theory and utility management. The article also aimed to impart important contributions to readers through the presentation of carefully selected references which furnish what may be considered an appropriate base for the acquisition and understanding of decision theory and utility management in behavioral sciences. Some of the recent books and articles on statistical decision theory contain a number of remarks at variance with the fiat and scripture that currently dictate the practice of statistical generalization in scientific research and industrial quality control. A discussion about the importance of probability and mathematical expectation, the major concepts in decision theory were also discussed. |
