| Abstrakt: | This article presents taxonomic information on the succulent plant genus Psilocaulon (P.) of the family Mesembryanthemoideae. Most species of Psilocaulon are fairly widespread pioneers. These are most often found in disturbed places on a wide variety of soils, and even in situations of high salinity. Some species, however, such as P. foliosum, P. leptarthron, or P. parviflorum, are more localized and specialized. |
