Abstrakt: The article reports on the growth of the employee rights movement in the United States that is expected to forge revolutionary changes in the workplace and in the way companies manage people. According to the author, the movement has emerged amid the weakening of labor unions, with the courts and state legislatures becoming the most effective champions of employee rights. The implication of the emergence of this movement on the nation's labor market and the economy are discussed.
