Abstrakt: The article focuses on the economic activity in South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, as the Japanese yen weakens. According to the author, Korea will have the biggest increase in exports, with an estimated 11% in 1986. As stated by Ralph J. Thomson of American Electronics Association, the four countries, dubbed as the "Four Tigers," are capturing turf from the Japanese in semiconductors, disk drives, and other computer equipment.
