| Abstrakt: | The author reflects on the negotiation between Portugal and China to put back the province of Macau under China's rule. According to her, Lisbon and Beijing are negotiating and are expected to reach the agreement by 1987 to bring Macau back to China by the year 2000. She offers discussions on the industry, people, as well as the past conditions of the province. Moreover, she concedes that businesses in the province, particularly in the bank sector, is now mainly controlled by China. |
