Abstrakt: The article presents papers presented at the symposia on the management of disseminated eruptive hemangiomata in infants. One of the presenter put forward the view that infants suffering from this disease represent a continuum with variable degrees of involvement ranging from skin only to combined cutaneous and visceral involvement to visceral lesions only. Recognition of this condition requires appreciation of the diversity of signs and symptoms. Frequent careful examination will save the family undue anxiety and depletion of finances, and save the infant needless procedures. Many infants do well and require neither studies nor therapy. Ultimately, the hemangiomas usually regress spontaneously.
