The article focuses on Warner Brothers Network (WB). Ten years later and coming off of a rough season ratings-wise in 2004-05, the network that made its name as a teen magnet is feeling the urge to grow up: the WB is broadening its target to a niche demographic, adults 25-34, that is larger and more readily available than teens and the 18-24 set. Amid all of the change, WB entertainment president David Janollari is presiding over his first full season at the network with a development slate he shepherded from scratch after coming aboard in June 2004, when last season's schedule already was set. |
