The article "Women's Rights After War and Genocide: Contradictions and Challenges" published in the Journal of Genocide Research discusses the opportunities and challenges for women's rights in post-war contexts. It highlights the importance of women's inclusion in politics and peace processes, but also points out contradictions and limitations in existing frameworks. The authors present findings from their Women's Rights After War (WRAW) project, which evaluates women's rights reforms in six conflict-affected countries. The article emphasizes the need for more radical and transformative interventions to address gender injustice and build more just and equitable societies after war and genocide.
