Abstrakt: In this work, we study the reflected and transmitted wave energy that is induced by the interaction between linear long waves and two submerged floating breakwaters with wavy surfaces, in the presence of a non-uniform seabed, that obeys a power law. The problem is solved under the potential flow assumption. Once the dimensionless governing equations were obtained, we carried out an asymptotic analysis up to the second order in a regular expansion. The boundary conditions at the breakwaters surfaces are non-homogeneous; therefore, they are linearized using the domain perturbation method. The governing equation that includes the geometric change of the seabed is solved using the WKB singular perturbation technique. The results reveal that the larger reflection coefficient occurs when the undulating breakwaters are closer to the free surface elevation, and the seafloor is convex. The asymptotic solution is compared with classical analytical solutions and the results are in good agreement. The present asymptotic solution can be used as a practical reference for the selection of the geometric configuration of submerged floating breakwaters of wavy surfaces under shallow flow conditions, including different geometric profiles of the seabed.
