A recent study conducted by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology focused on monitoring residual prohibited doping substances in foods using gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The research aimed to improve premonitoring procedures to ensure food safety, particularly in relation to banned doping compounds that could be ingested through food. The study developed an analytical method to detect endogenous hormones in meat samples, although they did not exceed maximum residue limits.
