Abstrakt:	Researchers from King Abdulaziz University conducted a study on applying the NHS Restorative Dentistry Index of Treatment Need (IOTN) to clinical decision-making in Saudi Arabia. The study involved training dental students, interns, and general dentists on the IOTN to improve their referral and management decision skills for patients with complex restorative needs. The research found that training general dentists on the IOTN led to more accurate classification of cases and better management and referral decisions for certain complexity levels.
