A recent study conducted at Xiangyang No. 1 People's Hospital explored the relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels and severe headaches or migraines. The research, based on data from the NHANES database, found a significant negative correlation between serum 25(OH)D levels and the risk of severe headaches or migraines. The study suggested that further clinical research is needed to confirm these findings and explore potential preventive and therapeutic mechanisms for migraines, particularly in females, non-smokers, and non-hypertensive individuals.
