A recent study from Hasselt University examined the impact of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) on older adults, finding that those with BPPV were less physically active and more frail compared to controls. The research suggests that BPPV may lead to decreased physical activity, well-being, and increased frailty in older adults. Post-treatment follow-up should include assessments of BPPV, frailty, and physical activity to determine if further rehabilitation is necessary. [Extracted from the article] |
