Abstrakt: | A study conducted at Hospital Juarez de Mexico examined the correlation between Doppler ultrasound findings, MELD 3.0 scores, and variceal hemorrhage in liver cirrhosis patients. The research found that hepatic artery velocity (HAV) was significantly associated with variceal hemorrhage and moderately correlated with MELD 3.0 scores. The study suggests that HAV could serve as a non-invasive tool for screening variceal hemorrhage in cirrhotic patients. [Extracted from the article] |
