Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia focused on the quality of life of sickle cell disease (SCD) patients in the country. The study found that SCD has a significant impact on various aspects of patients' quality of life, affecting both mental and physical well-being. The research aimed to evaluate different quality of life indicators in a diverse group of SCD patients and highlighted the need for targeted interventions to improve employer awareness and support for individuals with SCD. The study included 494 participants from three major regions in Saudi Arabia and will be used to develop strategies to enhance the overall quality of life for SCD patients in the country.
