The analysis of well production dynamics is the basis for the design of development programs. In this paper, we first propose a method for estimating straight well production in porous fractured reservoirs on the basis of the Vogel method that considers reservoir deformation. Secondly, a single-parameter model is used to consider the change of permeability with pressure. Composite inflow performance relationship (IPR) curves are plotted based on the pressure transient analysis data as part of the porous fractured compressible reservoir model. Thirdly, based on the IPR curves, the production capacity of wells with bottom-hole pressure (BHP) below the bubble point pressure is calculated. Results show that:(a) Pressure buildup curve obtained for the well producing at bottom-hole pressure above bubble-point pressure has been used as basic data. (b) The obtained estimates have been used to determine a range of acceptable bottom-hole pressures and to calculate well production rate. (c) The proposed method has been tested using simulated and actual problems. Good agreement between the actual and calculated data has been obtained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
