Abstrakt: Surface plasma waves (SPW) are electromagnetic waves formed by the action of laser on metal. These waves propagate at the surface of metal. The interaction of SPW with other materials like semiconductor has been studied in the present manuscript. The comparative study of efficiency of harmonic generation between metal–vacuum interface and metal–semiconductor interface has also been done. Studies reveal that under considered parameters, harmonic generation at metal–semiconductor interface is more efficient than metal–vacuum interface. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
