Abstrakt: | Researchers at Jagiellonian University conducted a study to investigate whether virtual observers influence moral judgments in virtual environments. The study involved 62 participants who were presented with moral dilemmas in the presence of a virtual observer and alone. The research found that moral judgments were influenced by physiological arousal and the directness of the dilemma, but not by the virtual character's presence. This study sheds light on the potential limits of virtual characters in shaping human behavior. [Extracted from the article] |
