Abstrakt: | Researchers at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in Iran conducted a study comparing the accuracy of nurses and mothers in estimating the intensity of pain and anxiety in 3-6-year-old children during venous catheter insertion. The study found a statistically significant and direct correlation between the mean scores of pain intensity and anxiety assessment by nurses and mothers. This suggests that either the mother or nurse's recorded scores can be a valid indicator for estimating the intensity of pain and anxiety in children. The research was published in the journal pzhwhan and can be accessed for further information. [Extracted from the article] |
