Abstrakt: A study conducted at the University of Sarajevo focused on identifying biochemical markers to differentiate between primary and secondary hypothermia in a rat model. The research involved analyzing various biochemical parameters in blood samples collected from rats exposed to different conditions. The study found significant differences in total protein, globulin, and amylase levels, suggesting their potential use as biomarkers in forensic investigations to distinguish between primary and secondary hypothermia. The research was funded by the Cantonal Ministry of Science, Higher Education And Youth of Bosnia And Herzegovina and was published in Applied Sciences. [Extracted from the article]
