Abstrakt: A study conducted at the University of Mosul in Iraq examined the accuracy of intraoral scanners in digital dentistry, focusing on the impact of jaw curvature and inter-implant distance on the quality of virtual models. The research found that the Trios3Shape IOS showed maximum accuracy at 7mm and 14mm inter-implant distances, while the 3Disc Heron IOS produced significant distortion at 21mm and 28mm inter-implant distances. The study highlights the importance of considering these factors to ensure accurate data collection and prevent prosthetic misfits in dental procedures. [Extracted from the article]
