Abstrakt: |
Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham conducted a study on congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), a genetic condition affecting adrenal steroid production. The study focused on implementing a Comprehensive Adolescent Healthcare Transition (CAH-T) program to support adolescents with CAH during the transition from pediatric to adult healthcare. Results showed increased utilization of healthcare transition services and acceptance of the program among clinicians, highlighting the importance of structured healthcare transition programs for adolescents with CAH.
