Interreligious dialogue is crucial for cultural, economic, and social progress, fostering cultural development through activities like tourism. To address misunderstandings and biases, continuous development and promotion of interreligious dialogue is essential. This two-way process emphasises the importance of 'listening and telling', while respecting differences. Religious tourism serves as a valuable tool for encounters and understanding among diverse communities. This paper tries to address the question of whether there are for interreligious dialogue in tourism that have yet to be applied and could be implemented? The findings from tourism theory indicate that religious encounters primarily take place in sacred places, sacred attractions, cultural-religious routes, and pilgrimage sites important for followers of different religions. The results of an e-Delphi survey with 25 participants, reveal the following: 1. Pilgrimage routes where members of other religious beliefs are taking part can contribute to interreligious dialogue and understanding creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust; 2. Religious institutions could play a significant role in promoting interreligious dialogue by utilising tourism as a bridge that unites people of diverse religious beliefs together through joint seminars, conferences, panels, and educational events. Numerous instruments, activities, and stakeholders crucial for interreligious dialogue have been identified, particularly highlighting the role of destination management, where the greatest responsibility lies in these processes.
