The experiment was carried out in the experimental field of IRGR, Sadovo (Bulgaria), during the period 2021-2022. The aim was to evaluate the grain quality of two wheat varieties (Geya 1 and Sashez) by the traits: 1000 grains weight, test weigh, sedimentation value and fermentation number. Eighteen fertilization treatments with single, double and triple application of nitrogen fertilizer rate (17 kg N) at the tillering, end of tillering beginning of heading and heading phases combined with different irrigation rates of 10, 20 and 30 mm were used in the experiment. According to the results obtained, the variant with the highest average value for the trait mass per 1000 grains was obtained in variant 14 (50.1g) was the variant with double nitrogen application combined with 30 mm irrigation rate. For hectolitre mass (75.9 kg/hl) and sedimentation number (71.5 cm3 and 72.5 cm3), the best results were obtained for variant 12 with three applications of fertilizer and 20 mm water, and variant 10 with a single application of nitrogen fertilizer combined with 20 mm water. Fermentation number values were influenced to the highest extent in the variants with double application of nitrogen and 30 mm irrigation rate (variant 17 - 130.5 min). The cultivar factor was found to significantly influence the occurrence of the traits 1000 grains weight, sedimentation value and fermentation number. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
