The article focuses on the diversity and distribution of snake species in and around Solapur district, Maharashtra, India based on data collected over two years (2018-2020). It identifies 20 species of snakes, including venomous, semi-venomous, and non-venomous types from six families. Key findings include the occurrence of both common and rare species, such as the Albino Spectacled Cobra in residential areas. |
