Abstrakt: | Researchers from Hebei Medical University in China conducted a study on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and its pathological mechanisms, focusing on endoplasmic reticulum stress (ER stress) and neuroinflammation. The study found that Astragaloside IV (AS-IV) improved neurological functions in mice with TBI by modulating the PERK-eIF2a-ATF4 signaling pathway. AS-IV was shown to alleviate neuroinflammation and brain damage post-TBI through the PERK pathway, offering new insights for TBI treatment. This research provides valuable information on potential strategies for treating secondary brain injury. [Extracted from the article] |
