Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Fatima College of Health Sciences focused on the effectiveness of Transtheoretical Model-based interventions in promoting healthy behaviors related to modifiable risk factors of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). The research found that these interventions were successful in increasing physical activity levels, managing weight, and improving dietary habits, but showed limited effectiveness in promoting smoking cessation. The study concluded that further research and tailored strategies may be needed to enhance the effectiveness of interventions in smoking cessation.
