The article discusses the impact of empathy training on bullying behavior in juvenile prisoners, emphasizing the importance of empathy in preventing bullying. The study conducted by Rohman Hikmat et al used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, showing a decrease in bullying behavior after the intervention. The authors recommend a comprehensive approach to training community nurses to effectively work with juvenile prisoners from diverse cultural backgrounds, highlighting the need for an integrated curriculum that includes empathy skills and exploration of humility culture. Empathy training is seen as crucial for community nurses in Special Child Development Institutions to implement interventions that prevent bullying in children and adolescents, recognizing the significance of emotional intelligence in decision-making processes.
