The article focuses on the report received by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) on the increase in human parvovirus B19 (B19) infections among pregnant women associated with fetal complications from January through September 2024. Topics include details of the five cases of B19 infection reported to MDH, analysis conducted by the Midwest Analytics and Disease Modeling Center and preliminary conclusions and actions. |
