The main focus of the workshop, which took place at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, was on historical ploughlands, which represent remnants of parceling and have significance for the ecology and cultural-historical values of the landscape. Nearly 30 experts from various institutions participated in the event, presenting contributions from fields such as landscape ecology, archaeology, and botany. Natural and historical factors influencing ploughlands were discussed, as well as possibilities for their protection and significance for biodiversity.
