A recent study conducted by researchers at Alexandria University focused on the relationship between albuminuria and complications of chronic kidney disease in children. The study included 50 patients aged 3-14 years and found a significant association between the degree of albuminuria and the presence of anemia and hyperphosphatemia. However, no significant relationship was found between albuminuria and hypertension, dyslipidemia, acidosis, or hypocalcemia. This research sheds light on the importance of monitoring albuminuria in children with chronic kidney disease. [Extracted from the article] |
