A study conducted at the University of Tripoli in Libya focused on investigating the mediating roles of resilience, posttraumatic growth, and religiosity in Libyan survivors of Hurricane Daniele. The research involved 101 participants, predominantly women, with an average age of 30.43 years. Findings indicated that resilience positively mediated the association between posttraumatic stress symptoms and anxiety, highlighting the importance of enhancing resilience as a protective factor against psychological distress in trauma survivors. The study suggests the need for urgent clinical interventions, such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, for affected individuals. [Extracted from the article] |
