A recent study conducted by Antalya Bilim University in Turkey focused on nurses who were traumatized by the Kahramanmaras earthquake, aiming to understand their experiences, coping mechanisms for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the impact on their profession. The study, which involved 15 nurses, highlighted the significant psychological and professional challenges faced by nurses dealing with earthquakes, emphasizing the importance of investing in disaster preparedness and mental health resources for nurses.
