A report from Boston Children's Hospital discusses interventions aimed at reducing pediatric mental health boarding and improving access to acute psychiatric services. The study found that after implementing these interventions, the mean length of boarding decreased by 53%, and more patients were able to access acute psychiatry treatment programs.
