Abstrakt: A study conducted at AlMaarefa University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, examined nurses' attitudes, behaviors, and barriers towards pressure ulcer prevention in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units (NICU and PICU). The research highlighted the importance of structured assessment tools, ongoing education, and fostering positive attitudes among nurses to reduce pressure ulcer prevalence and improve patient outcomes in these settings. The study found that nurses with more than 10 years of qualification and permanent staff with over 10 years of employment were more likely to engage in preventive practices, along with the use of a pressure ulcer grading tool and participation in formal training.
