Researchers at Hubei University of Medicine have developed a new molecular subtype for clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) based on hypoxia and lactate metabolism-related genes. By integrating machine learning algorithms, they created a prognostic model to predict survival rates, immune microenvironment status, and treatment responsiveness for ccRCC patients. The study identified 85 prognostic genes and determined potential personalized drugs for specific risk subgroups, aiming to improve prognosis prediction, immunotherapy, and personalized medicine for ccRCC patients.
