Porokeratosis ptychotropica (PP) is a rare skin condition that is difficult to treat. A 45-year-old man with a 4-year history of PP showed no improvement with previous treatments but responded positively to abrocitinib tablets. The patient's lesions improved after 1 month of treatment, and further thinning of the keratinized plaques was noted over 4 months. Abrocitinib, a JAK1 inhibitor, was effective in relieving itching and thinning lesions in this case, offering a new therapeutic option for PP. [Extracted from the article] |
