Tanah Abang Market is a shopping center located in DKI Jakarta and is also the largest textile industry center in the region. The existence of this market has an impact on the transportation system in the DKI Jakarta area, such as causing congestion and pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out planning related to the transportation system in the Tanah Abang Market area. This study aims to analyze travel patterns and the amount of freight generation in the area. Travel patterns in Pasar Tanah Abang involve many parties and have different operating hours for loading and unloading activities. The resulting Freight Generation model considers the number of employees and store size as influencing factors. The model is used to predict or estimate the volume of goods generated in the future. To conduct this analysis, a primary survey of employees and shop owners in Pasar Tanah Abang block A was conducted to collect data. The modeling used linear regression and went through several test stages to get an accurate model. As a result, there are four equation models with significant variables, namely store area and number of employees. The model was validated by comparing the actual volume of goods with the model's predicted volume. The purpose of this modeling is so that planners, decision makers, and related parties can benefit in planning and building a store. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
