A 12-year-old boy with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) presented with a non-healing ulcerated, verrucous plaque on his foot. The diagnosis was verruciform xanthoma, a rare benign neoplasm that typically manifests in the oral mucosa but can occur on extraoral sites.
